Today is the 100th day of 2024, which marks a node in this year.
Website Optimization#
Today, the website's DNS server was moved to Cloudflare, and some free optimization features were enabled.
The front end of this blog is deployed using Vercel's Serverless. After migrating the DNS server to Cloudflare, the site became inaccessible, showing "too many redirects." To resolve this issue, adjustments need to be made in Cloudflare's Dashboard. Go to SSL/TLS -> Overview interface, then change the encryption mode to Full (Strict) to solve this problem.
Following tutorials online, an attempt was made to create a free Cloudflare R2 storage as a free image hosting service. However, for some unknown reason, its performance is not as good as the public image hosting service I previously used, so I will not migrate to this new self-hosted image hosting service temporarily.
Additionally, to mitigate some risks, I manually blocked access from China.
Furthermore, the source code of the front-end theme of this blog is forked from Teacher Innei. I have relied on Sync Fork for automatic updates for a long time, but since April 4th, the Github platform has been constantly reminding me that my fork cannot be Auto Merged. To solve this issue, after backing up the original modified code, I discarded all my commits on Github and updated, then re-imported my modified code.
School Life#
Recent coursework has become much more challenging. Mechanisms & Machine Theory just started a few weeks ago, but it already requires a lot of time for me to understand the course content. Systems Engineering just passed the headache-inducing System Modeling and is now teaching the tedious Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method. I hope to achieve a decent grade in this semester's professional courses.
In May, I will participate in the TOEFL exam and am currently busy preparing for it. At the same time, I am making some basic preparations for paper publication in the second half of the year. I will be entering my junior year in the second half of the year, moving to another campus, and officially preparing for the GRE. There's really no idle moment.
